Aphorism #111 Have Friends.

’Tis a second existence. Every friend is good and wise for his friend: among them all everything turns to good. Every one is as others wish him; that they may wish him well, he must win their hearts and so their tongues. There is no magic like a good turn, and the way to gain friendly feelings is to do friendly acts. The most and best of us depend on others; we have to live either among friends or among enemies. Seek some one every day to be a well-wisher if not a friend; by and by after trial some of these will become intimate.http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/ArtOfWorldlyWisdom?d=yIl2AUoC8zA (http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/ArtOfWorldlyWisdom?a=BQtQ0Jl6hQo:gY9c8cxCk8g:yIl2A UoC8zA) http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/ArtOfWorldlyWisdom?d=qj6IDK7rITs (http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/ArtOfWorldlyWisdom?a=BQtQ0Jl6hQo:gY9c8cxCk8g:qj6ID K7rITs)

This is one of those statements that require some thought. But what kind of thought? Do not attempt to memorize. Do not attempt to calculate. It is worth a lot more than that. It is worth some conversations with a pillow until you see the meaning, without trying to be convinced (Convictions are not necessarily true. A note for asses. ~ Nietzsche). Let it sink in for a gentle while.
Some will think this is BS. But there is little that's philo-sophical in this wisdom. You can have tantrums, say "but look at the world, man." But no thing you'll ever do or say will ever apply in the long run. You will eventually waggle your tail because your self-imposed tail, your stupidly calculated tail cannot waggle you. Why? No reason. What matters reason before this monument to wisdom? You might as well study Seneca to waggle your tail better.
I'll say no more about this so as not to make you think it might be just a thesis. Have friends.
