a wholesome penance or a punishing tenant?
or is silence a disguise of mischief? by having the right to keep silent surely that would be the wrong thing to do to show penance if we go with the law.
any views most welcome :)

And there are numerous proverbs warning against wicked words. Few things are warned against more than errant speech.

ha! better wicked words then wicked thoughts! or even wicked act! ;)
That isn't wise cacian. They all work together; that is against you. There are no wicked words without wicked thoughts; and wicked words inevitably lead to wicked deeds.
