One of the Seven Greece Sages

Philosopher Russel, to us closer much,
Says we started our wisdom upon his touch
Which lifted from nature a veil of myth
Enabling the world’s thought freely to breathe

I thank him for all the works he made,
And, because none of them has been saved,
I thank those who passed them through times
To reach our days as the most precious dimes.
