how how would you feel if someone left someone they were with for you?

It depends on why and what for. But that's very hard to determine without good acquaintance with the circumstances and, of course, meaningful feelings for the other person. Cannot be based on hearsay,

What do you mean? Did she break promises made before "God and this Company"? Or did she abandon her "wing-woman" at a bar to head into the night with me? Or something in between?

I would call upon my common sense to remind me that if the schmuck would leave someone they were with for me, then the schmuck will someday leave me for someone else.

And as far as how I would "feel"?...in one word, "relieved" to find this out, the sooner the better....because why would anyone want to spend time with someone who doesn't care about them enough to stay?

LOL... Common sense is not so common. Well...maybe within yourself sense is common and that's what you mean.

In any case, you make some very good points...the sooner the better... later for the birds.

Yiddish shmok. It means penis. In USA, it may mean jerk.

Flattered. I don't frown on it at all unless she is married. I've made a few plays for attached women. The only time I have an issue is when they don't tell me they have a boyfriend but flirt or fool around with me anyway. Then I lose respect and deem them undatable.

I have never experienced it myself but I am wondering whether this is always true.

how about your feelings?
what if you had feelings for him? I think one cannot always dictate how one feels towards another :)

presumably you would not do the same if you were in that same position? :D
