Fall

The Earth opens her womb
and spills out a bloodied menstruation
of orangeyellowcrimson blood;
She starts to become cold.

I like the first poem here stylistically, since it really captures 'channel surfing' on the radio. I think it's very clever. If that was recording reality, I would like to turn the radio off. :) Well, at that time.

Thank you. I don't know if you're a fan or not, but I was sort of inspired by the Elvis Costello song of the same name.

I like what I've heard, but more into Bowie. I like the sonic experimentation here. thanks for sharing!

I really like the work you've posted here, Nick. You have a style that I haven't seen a lot of recently and I appreciate that more than the regular. The first, I agree with Silas, it does feel pretty what it is like to turn on the radio and just want to turn it off instead. Mainstream music and vulgarity (not that I'm one to judge) have taken over. Great job, I enjoyed these thoroughly.

Thanks a lot, guys. The support is much appreciated, as well as reciprocated.

Your two offerings here seem refreshingly original, in terms of both style and subject matter.
Factual quibble re "Fall": blood can indeed be crimsom, not sure about the orange and the yellow.

I'm not the only person who bleeds orange and yellow, am I? :)

But in actuality, I just thought that those colors were the best choices to contribute to the imagery.
