Flush the Lewd Art!
F(luid) Art

A batch of fur poked through a pore serves the page a pill,
It's row of spots ferries my woe 'til posterior nerves are still
This parchment thirsts for thought; I'm parched! Where's reality?
Might I barter for insight with fluff 'til my mind (or tummy) is free?
Counting sheep is useless for sleep, but shedding this load takes work!
I never knew Feces and philosophy could make me feel so---URGGGH!
Finally! Whoo! Mom's not home yet? Guess I'll leave the seat up.

I don't know, is this the new thing? Writing bad poetry to get comments? If it is, it seems to be working well enough.

You seem to share with Rabelais a predilection for excrement. This, though few would admit it, is a symbolic secret. It is also a path of initiation.
In this peculiarity Rabelais is completely alone among the writers of the earth. Others have, for various reasons, dabbled in this sort of thing—but none have ever piled it up. There is not the slightest reason to regret this thing or to expurgate it. Rabelais is not Rabelais, just as life is not life, without it.
It is indeed the way of "salvation" for certain neurotic natures. There are people who suffer frightfully—and they are often rare natures, too, though they are sometimes very vicious—from their loathing of the excremental side of life. Swift was one of these. The "disgusting" in his writing is a pathological form, not at all unusual, of such a loathing.
Surely it is wisdom, in mortals, to make what imaginative use we can of every phase of our earthly condition?
It is the association of this excremental aspect of life, with those high sacraments of meat and drink and sex, which some find so hard to endure. If a person is hurt by them, that is only an indication that they are in grievous need of the wholesome purgative medicine.
