to rays it laces
to colours it mazes
and to streaks it phases
birds towards it wale
to their wings a mail
written to mosaic same
to height
a pleasure dale
and to width a winner sail
nothing like it for miles
and scale

to time it wises
to day it rises
to night it lazes
and to sun it tices
the moon towards it paces
with its round single
astound
measured to a perfect sound
where light from it bounces
and shade rouses
nothing like it for tidals
