london
the streets
are centuries
of thrill
night time
swings
sanctuaries
a realm
and bright lights
string
parties a
scene
cafes are proms
to theatres
and songs
london
the air
is scentrifuge
of fleurs
atmosphere
swirls
a melody
of
pearls
and visitors
rung
sequels
of myrrh
etiquettes
are strung
amulets
of rare
london
the hype
is boutiques
of moeurs
come and sweep its
heure and
feel it beat a
stir
its characters
a flux
from all over
the world
captivate the sun
and elevate the fun
daytime streams
parodies
of dreams

I've never been to London, but in spite of the "hype", you made it sound like a nice place to visit.

Not different than any big metropolis in that sense. If you are going to talk about London being special, you can mention the organizing of the French resistence, the making of the islanders at the Faulklands citizens of the UK, the defeat of the idiotic Spanish armada, Waterloo, etc., etc. and etc.

well yes it is different in the sense that it has monarchy at its centre. Monarchy is the essential of England without it England is just another city.

England...? A city? :p
I'm not entirely sure if this is a very... structured... poem, but it does somehow seems to capture the essence of London. 'Parodies of dreams' is quite nice.

It's been a monarchy all along. LOL Why is that going to produce the stupid aspects you cite, which are no different than those in NYC, or any big metropolis? Please don't be ridiculous in trying to force your issues, or we are going to send The Iron Lady after you. ROFLMAO.
