Hello everyone. My name is Benjamin, but I'll answer to any variation thereof (or most anything someone decides to call me, honestly.) I am 28 years old, and have been writing for most of my life. I am my own worst critic, and I've rarely, if ever, shared any of my work with anyone. I feel as though it may be time to change that.
I enjoy writing a little bit of everything. I feel that if I limit myself to one or two different genres, then an incredible idea may pass me by in a different one. I do write a good bit of science fiction, and fantasy. But I also love a good detective story, and I find horror to be a real page turner. I am also a sucker for a good romance, though I find it difficult to write.
I am also a collector of books, and live amongst walls lined with bookshelves, and flanked by piles of books in corners. My favorite contemporary author is Kurt Vonnegut, but I am also a fan of the classics. I enjoy the work of Robert Louis Stevenson, and Alexandre Dumas.
I have been experiencing a near crippling case of writers block for about three years. I feel like I have some amazing story trying to burst out of me, but I have trouble figuring out how to make that happen.
