A man who is happy with his life has no meaningful understanding of it.
They are currently writing an international ban on robots called LARS,
that stands for lethal autonomous robotics.
They are programmed to show no compassion,
no allowance for crying babies or anything,
kind of like the Bush policies in Iraq.
There are a lot of smiling idiots in the world.
Hell, I have been known to laugh out loud on occasion,
must be the Pick's disease, or a hypersensitivity to irony.
The only thing I know for sure is,
in a pissing contest, bet on the horse, not the jockey.

Pick's disease, huh? If one can catch it by making bad horse "picks," I must've been sent out to pasture long ago.

Yeah, bet the horse, not the jockey is fairly good advice. But history may be made today. If Kevin Krigger wins on Goldencents, he'll be the first African-American to win the Derby since Jimmy Winkfield, who rode his horses to Kentucky Derby victories in 1901 and 1902. And even though female jockeys of the past, e.g. Julie Krone, have won some big races, many folks are pulling for Rosie Napravnik. If she gets the roses for MyLute, she'll be the very first female rider to win the Kentucky Derby.

I'm not telling you my pick for the winner, about an hour and a half from now, because I know it will come back to haunt me.
