the foliage
thrill
is mosaic spilled
from yellow
to white
brilliance is wild
to purple and prune
marvel is mild
colours so smitt
in pastels they skip

the daffodil
the perenial flute
is
petal bloomed
to hazel moods
then
swerved and smooved
to sky line grooves
marshmallow cubes
appear to spruce
sunshine to moon

the daffodil
the charms
of spring
is preserves of kings
mellowed to wind
pockets of flints
are seen to swing
from wide to height
gracious and trimmed
the breeze's twinged
to flirtatious winks
