There was a family living in rural country. They were grandfather, father, mother and children. They were suffered quite a nuisance.
One day, dad thought that, the grandfather, do nothing except sit in a corner. So the dad putting his father in a basket and went on the road towards the river. Children playing by the river with friends, they asked his fathers what he did.
Dad: "your grandfather does nothing us other than being a burden. Decided to throw him into the river along with the basket," he said.
Children excited discarded. "Oh Dad, Do not throwing basket. Because, when you get older, I need basket for throwing you.”

I can't help wondering if an entire class of junior school children have collectively signed up to litnet for a bet, or whether someone is playing a huge joke. In the unlikely event that this is not a joke, I heartily recommend that today's crop of new posters go and read at least one book of short stories before they post their next contributions.

Since a few of them are actually commenting on each others' stories, I'm wondering if that's part of the assignment.
I think it's all one poster and that every single new user is that same person.
I created a duplicate account and commented on my own first post on this site as well, only to get comments. I've no doubt that's what's happening again here.
Is the tone different enough that they could be different people? Not in my opinion.

cacian - someone has managed to post a full page of new short stories on here overnight using about 20 false identities we think. They're all dreadfully written - a total waste of our time to even read let alone comment on.
We're trying to work out whether it's a class of schoolchildren playing a prank (possibly somewhere in India) or a set of Albanian hackers trying to crash the site. . .
. . . and I thought it might have been you expanding your repertoire from a poem a day to a short story every 5 minutes.
You know what a wicked sense of humour I have

I don't see the point of giving such harsh criticism to a group of students who are doing their homeworks. Offering constructive criticism in couple sentences, if one must offer anything at all, might do a world of good. Give it a try sometime, Hill.

I'm pretty confident this is a high school or junior high class on the lit net. Some of the titles are "short story assignment", or just "short story." In addition...the writing is terrible. I try to be pretty respectful in my criticism but all these "stories" look like they were forced to be written, without any real desire or inspiration to write. Hell, some of them are like three run on sentences in total.
The only thing I don't get are the user names. Usually for a class, the teacher will ask students to use a name she'd be able to identify with.
Cacian is opinionated and unique, but I don't think intentional spamming suits her. Plus, Cacian has no fear of our responses, So making new usernames would be more work for her than discomfort to us.

Excellent advice - I might try that sometime.
Meanwhile they hijack an entire forum and relegate everybody else's efforts to the next page. And that makes this a site worth visiting. . . how exactly?
