The alarm had triggered for five minutes already, but Haby had no head or even the courage to face the life. Under her cover, she begins to think about all sorts of things, how her life had completely been affected in one Day. The loss of his job, her boyfriend and even her dog in less than 24h.it was too much for her. She remembered sacrificing whole nights trying to work to get that job and with one click she lost all. Suddenly a loud noise that sounds 3 times pulled her from her thoughts which were becoming to be increasingly sad .With an abrupt and united gesture, she took of the cover till her feet and sat in the middle of the bed. The same noise sound again 3 more times, it was the door. She got up in a really unintended way, put her robe and sandals then walked to the door with a gait that seemed to be even much for her. She took the keys on the Door- table and opened the door with a quick gesture.
-Are you Haby Jess? A tall man, in a suit asked directly
-Yes! replied Haby
The man opened his briefcase and handed her some documents while saying
- I am John Meyer, I'm an Usher and I am sending to give you these documents. The new owner of the Building asks you to liberate the apartment because he wants to renovate and sell it.
Haby, mouth open and eyes in orbit took the documents in a neglected way, and began to go through it rapidly as if she was looking for something that would show that the bailiff was at the wrong apartment or had mistaken her for another person h. After scanning the papers several times, she finally shouted:
-This cannot be true. I have been living here all my life; my father somehow bequeathed me a certain way before he died. The owner can’t do that.
The man replied with a little sympathy in his voice:
-I'm sorry but it is like this nowadays and I advise you to move before next Monday.
- Next Monday? Haby exclaimed, desperate more than ever - but this is just in 5 days, how will I do to be ready in 5 days? Does he even have the right to do that?
-I'm sorry but he has the right because your father has signed a contract, years ago and he accepted all the conditions and unfortunately, this was stated in. Anyway, everything is said in these documents, said the usher feeling even more culpable. Then he added - I have to go now, but do everything to liberate the apartment at 3:00PM on Monday. Then he headed straight to the stairs.
Haby stood at the door about 2 minutes, mouth B, Looking the man taking down the stairs rapidly as he was fleeing a great disaster. After that she slammed the door, then leaned on it and collapsed violently on the floor.
She started to look around with hers eyes full of tears and her heart beating really fast. She looked from the bath room to the little place reserved to receipt people. Her Apartment was not really big; in fact, it was really small. Only two rooms and yet this is effective if we can actually call the cellar a room. The living room which was also her bed room and kitchen was really large; and it could contains all of her stuffs .She looked the wallpaper which was green with a lower accent and so appealing to eyes but was slightly damaged because of humidity and age. She then fell in her best memories: the perfect life that she had with her mother and father. She was their only child and consequently had all their love at her own but then, both of them died during a boat sink when she was only 13 years old. Since then, she started to suffer and face life by herself. Now, she is 25, with no husband or someone who could fulfill that statue one day. Her boyfriend had left her because of her own best friend if she could call her like that anymore. Then the images of them starting to came in her mind, when she caught them the day before in her friend’s bed. And as it was not enough, she went to her job late and her boss who was in a bad mood as every day fired her. My life sucks! She said with a big sigh.
Then her thoughts brought her to her parents’ life. Her mother was a beautiful woman, and even the most beautiful woman she had ever met. She was tall, with long black hair, green eyes which were really deep, white teeth and a long nose. In a few words, her mother was just an older version of herself. Her mother loved her father deeply and she never saw them arguing. They were really comprehensive toward each other. In fact, they had the life she wished to have every day of her life. Then she got up, headed the cellar, opened it, turned on the light and started to look through the things of her parents. They were all covered by dust and spider web and that was because she didn’t touch them for many years. She started with the stuffs belonging to her father and she remembered her impeccable childhood, then she moved to her mother’s stuffs .She took a photograph of her mother, father and another woman and then said:
-Yes, they had the perfect life!
She continued to look through things and then she discovered a book. She was really lost at the discovering of that book because she was the one who sorted and arranged all of these stuffs in the cellar but she never saw that book. She then blew over the book in the view to remove the dust and opened it. On the first page it was written, Diary of Lacy jess.
–Mom’s diary, she said. She got up, turned off the light and carried the book to her bed, opened it and started to read. But after 5 minutes she felt a sleep.
When she wakes up, her eyes opened upon the roof which was quite different from the other days. She got up and sat on her bed. With a big surprise she noticed that everything was different; the furniture around her was not hers. With a quick jump, she arose and looked around. She run to the door and opened it, went in the hallway and said to the concierge:
-excuse me sir! Would you mind telling me where I am?
The concierge didn’t answer; in fact, he was doing his work as if there were nobody by his side. She repeated the same question 3 times with a higher tone but he was even not looking at her. She then said:
Thank you so much rude person! And she headed outside. People on the sidewalk were walking near her as if there was nobody. She tried to talk to more than five people but none look at her. Everybody was ignoring her. She came back in the building she woke up, telling herself that people were rude in the area. She entered in the apartment and sat on the couch. She looked carefully around, and then she saw a picture on the bedside table. She rushed to take it .It was the same photograph she was looking in the cellar just before sleeping: her father, her mother and another woman.
-That starts to be really weird! She said. While trying to give herself a valid explication, she heard the sound of the door opening, she turned and her eyes widened with amazement when she saw her mother entering with some shopping bags…
