Enchanted Love

They seized upon one another in the galloping light,
Breath to breath, whole heartily -
Clutching the moment.

It was a prize of joy
To the young lover's hearts;
Who compelled each other,
Complete in the others grasp.

And that day
They saw the sun and moon,
Gasp and overflow
With wonder.

And being greeted by doves
They incarnated as one,
Aroused by the mystery of love.
