I am Cristen Martin a full-time English instructor in Houston, Texas. I plan to use the features of this forum in my classes to promote effective creative writing skills and analytical thinking regarding literature. I am a native of Crowley, Louisiana. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from Grambling State University, and I have a Master of Arts in English degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Before entering the wonderful world of higher education, I was a print journalist for three years.
