Things are different today, my friend
If you were born a half century ago,

Or before the Internet had streamed
Or globalization was in its low swing
Change yourself
Or Time will change you unexpectedly

Love is drunk in a different brew
Sex is redefined in different phrases
Nation, culture, geography are fading concepts
Family and home are less discernible
See the flood of singles
Check with the escalation of drug addicts
Sex goes with homosexuality

Rise and the rest of the world will rise with you
And with their open hands to welcome you
Icing leaves you nowhere
Your sense of firmness leads you to nought

You the by-going cohort are already on the fringe

Hung in the balance,
Not of the ancients and of the now
Your home is wobbly

Your being here demands cessation of your being there
Depression and desolation has a clutch on you
Since the space between what you were and are is gaping
Your past is straining your present

LOL. Replace "your" by "My" and you could produce better, more purely believable BS.

Cafolini, mostly you choose to use sarcasms. I wonder what drives you to be sarcastic and cynic. Do you entertain by doing this? If so do and I and the rest do not mind. As for "your" or "my" I did out of my poetic moods and you cannot enter the state in which I composed the verses. All You can do is sneer at them and that is wherein some critics revel

It has a potential if minimalist--too verbose but with ordinary and useless words.
