Went to the zoo
To watch two monkeys
Throw poo.

Picked up the poo
And threw it at you!

One poetry thread per day. This is awful btw - couldn't you say 'throw purple poo' to give it some colour?

This was supposed to be in the 'write a really bad poem' thread. Oh, and I literally came up with it in the time it took me to walk from my bedroom to the bathroom. God, himself could not write 'colorful' poetry in that allotted time.

Such light verses have their own values and scopes and there is a beauty in your poem and I enjoy reciting it. We must write poetry not only the academic few but the mass who are rather un-erudite
