All of the following songs were released fairly recently.

These are average hip hop/jazzy hip hop tracks amidst the sea of hip hop stuff released on almost an hourly basis in the gargantuan underground Hip Hop universe.

This is what a 20 minute search on YouTube yielded so of course there are many tracks out there that are FAR superior to this if you dig deeper. Tell me what you think:

Nice selection with enchanting sounds. I can see how hip hop accentuates the lyrics of a song.

I never claimed hip hop was dead. There's lots of good stuff out there. I didn't know any of the artists you posted, though. Thanks. I'll definitely delve into them a little deeper. One of my favourite hip hop albums came out two or three years ago. It's called The Journey Aflame by Akua Naru.
