Have you ever met people who you thought you liked but got to know them and realized later they were not such a good person. On the other hand have you met people who you didn't like at first and then sometime later they become a good friend

Demeanors of Deception

There are two sides to everyone’s presentation

Those you didn’t like at first you find out your really do

And those you liked at first you find out you really don’t

Demeanors Of Deception
Illusions of Perception

The truth lies behind

the personality mirage
a mirrored facade

your first instinction ,
leads to no restriction ,
but eventually builds an inner confliction

Demeanors of Deception
Illusions of Perception

Don’t judge a book by your first conversation

There is a strange mix of simple statements, forced rhymes, and unrhymed lines working here that builds to something that reads too choppily for me. Maybe stylized differently a call and response between the literal and rhetoric might work - but I'm not sure you achieve that here.

I agree, Charles.
