I was just wondering if cats can get aids, because my kitten is a male and yet it behaves extremely effeminately and I am absolutely positive it is having gay sex with some cat somewhere. I have had many cats that have committed incest as well, but I would be really upset if my cat died of am immune system malfunction.

More importantly, I hope you are not discriminating against your gay kitty, Adolescent09.

FIV is a serious condition. If your cat goes outside, you want to have him tested and if negative, vaccinated for it. Talk to your vet.
As for being gay, I have never encountered any evidence of homosexual behaviour in domestic cats (unlike many other species). Also, if your cat is going outside (even if he's not), PLEASE get him castrated. PLEASE.

I was drinking a peach cooler when I read this, and then I choked, and then my nose flooded with peach cooler and now my face is burning. Seriously, the most hilarious and ridiculous concern I've ever heard expressed. Holy ****. Yeah, gay and effeminate (wat?) cats are at a huge risk of getting cat AIDS. Just so you know, I'm going to be telling people about this for a while.

The greatest irony in your question is that the feline equivalent, FIV, isn't even transmitted by sex, but by fighting and biting.
Heh, yeah, there's definitely that. However, I have come across such startling and upsetting ignorance in pet owners that every question becomes a fair one.
I'm curious though, Adolescent, what exactly is effeminate cat behaviour? How are male and female cats supposed to act?

Does your kitty like musicals? Is it particularly fond of Les Mis? (Is this a personal comment?)
