Just catching up with everyone. Just drop a line or two about what is new in your life. For instance my divorce will finally be official on Thursday. I am seeing someone new. :D

Sat down. Chair exploded. Ended up sitting amongst wreckage. My dignity is gone, but more importantly, so is my chair.

Good stuff, but didn't you learn from the first time? Just joking.

Hey Bien, I'm glad to hear about your romantic progress. For my part, I discovered that cities have these things called "thrift shops" which basically changed my life but now I have to buy another dresser.

Ha, ha, no it's even sexier than that, it's a real Bobby Dazzler!

It's also the warmest I've felt outside for about the last 6 months as well, and that includes having four layers (two coats) and scarf, hat, gloves, two trou, etc, that I have been wearing of late. Got it in a sale with about 50 notes knocked of it as well, so that's win/win/win.

Here is the link and video - you must watch the video of it - but it looks much better on me than that ugly porky bloke.

http://www.jsaccessories.co.uk/sale/clothing/ixs-tarmac-jacket-black-silver.html?

I'll have to post a pic of me with it when sorted, posing outside some place sometime with my jacket and bike. New Lit Net heartthrob material, move over Loka!

(I have a rustic brown leather jacket too for the traditionalist but it's just not practical, cold in winter and warm in summer. Not really suited leather jackets and bikes, never knew that.)

Wow! It really is a Bobby Dazzler. You'll probably draw admiring glances from the local young lollipops, only don't let the wife know.
I prefer black leather but my leather jacket is very much like this as I left the juvenile look behind a long time ago:

Well that's a stunner too, you would be fighting off all those sophisticats you get down London way with that one - "glass of Pinot miss?":ihih:

I very nearly did not get my jacket because I'm not into the sport style jacket at all, but did so because of the practicality of it being specifically designed for road wear, warm, water proof etc. I'm glad I did though because it does all of those things unbelievably better than I would have thought, so warm, but with the added attraction as you say of having to fight off the lollipops.

What's also happening in Neely town is I've got two weeks out of jail/work! (Insert the party image thing here!) Some Cumberland Ale hitting the neck tonight!

...

Also, just have to share this funny moment that I overheard today. This teacher was talking about someone who wanted to buy a cross/crucifix from a shop. He walked in and asked to buy one and the young bit behind the counter said, quote, 'do you want a plain one or one with a man on?' A man? Ha, ha...

You can take it from me. If you drop it onto a hard surface it will seriously curtail your photography.

LOL and what a picture. The shovel on the side makes it even more beautiful. A really nice shot Prendrelemick.
The top part of the shovel looks like a half a lever of something a handle to some sort. And look how its shade on the snow splits into two shades. I love light effect for that. The light from the camera against's nature, daylight, make the object such as the a shovel appear broke or split into 2 poles. The split phenomena or a visual broke down I like to call it. Haha.
What are those things at the end of the picture. Is that a couple of buildings? it is not clear.

Hi Bien!

Glad to learn you've been doing fine with your new relation. I can't say the same about me; my luck with women sucks as it has always been the case. On a more positive note, I've been busy at school making some more academic progress, plus a bit of digital art in the very little free time I have. Those are the only sorts of progress I seem able to make because they're unrelated to women. In other words, I seem able to succeed at almost anything, provided it's not a women-wise project. I'll be fine though, as soon as I accept that women and I speak different languages.

 Forgive me dear friend but the way you put it is so funny. As always, wishing you well in life. :)

I've also moved ahead in life. I've come to terms with my father's death although I keep missing him. There is some satisfaction that I'm doing what he'd have liked. Also I have become much more careful and caring about people I love. They can be here today and gone tomorrow.

It's catharsis time of the year!! http://smiles.kolobok.us/standart/meeting.gif Pretty much like any given day may become catharsis time of the year!! http://smiles.kolobok.us/standart/ok.gif

Yesterday the sun shone - no doubt you've read on other threads about our lingering winter in UK - and though it was still bitterly cold, I managed to get out and do some long overdue clearing out in my garden. I trimmed back the dead branches I failed to cut in the autumn because of the bad weather and I evicted several dozen snails that had the nerve to overwinter behind some plant pots, no doubt dreaming of the delicious breakfast they were going to enjoy among the tender little shoots just daring to poke their heads through the soil.

Kind friends have been giving me garden tokens for birthday and Christmas so I can restock the empty beds - they are burning a hole in my pocket and I'm fidgeting to go to the local garden centres to spend them but so far good sense is telling me it's too cold and too early to think about buying new plants.

Today it's overcast but despite the backache from yesterday's exertions, I'm tempted to go out and do some more - Spring is a little late this year.
