I have been published in a few literary magazines. The first of which came out today. And yea, I am pretty damned excited!!

Aww! Thank you! I totally loathe myself most of the time, so that's very nice to hear. Accomplishments are great. Creativity is great. I'm glad you're able to exercise yours even with working and all.

Thanks Lok!- I really admire your writing. You have a very gifted style and voice. I think you would do well in any genre - academic works, poetry or the rest!

Way to go Tony! I would be honored to get published some day. I have tried to get some of my poetry published, but it has all been in vain. Perhaps you can give me some pointers?

I would write about something you really know well and you have a deep emotion or experience to draw from - the ones that were published were the ones that came easiest. Also, I tried to gear the writing to the magazine content I saw. Much poetry today (but not litnet so much) is prose poetry - so I do some of that as well.

That said, this is my first time. I'm no expert on submission strategies.

Congratulations, recognition is a fine thing. The easiest sometimes show it, the mark of a sure and steady hand. Glad you hit the bulls eye.
