Well, here I am. Not much to look at, but I enjoy a fine bourbon now and again. How 'bout you?
Too late to change it, I realized I should have titled it "New to these boards."
I do like the punning possibilities of "the boards." My experience with discusson boards has been that a person tends to create a persona around his or her user name. We end up playing a part; treading the boards, so to speak.
I am lately of GiraffeBoards, which was a general public board of wits and half-wits. I finally got tired to trying to discuss something intelligently only to be shouted down by people with far too much emotional investment in the subject. So I went in search of a more intellectual group of folk who might still have a somewhat warped sense of humor. Hope there are some of you about.
