This one is a school assignment of mine, inspired by "The Raven" by Edgar Allan Poe.

Nevermore
The night is black and creepy,
The night is cold as death’s embrace.
I stand alone and dwell .So sleepy,
So tired, and by me – an empty space.

Suddenly – a noise, from the dwell I snapped
And saw a flummox picture.
A raven watching me from the capped,
His visage black, showing stricture.

“Away with you” I said
“My love is now no more” .
But he didn’t leave his stead
And said,I quote him “Nevermore”.

Darkest hour, I felt a chill.
I shouted at him once again
But the raven stood there still
And I thought I am insane.

I thought again “Should I ask him a question?”
“Shall I be with my swain for evermore?”
But the raven was still repeating in succession:
“Nevermore,nevermore”.

Then I felt a terror raising…
“I shall see her nevermore?”
Yes,those words were truly razing
The memories from our shared yore…

The raven’s shadow fell upon me
I had no hope to soar
With my beloved. Although my plea
The raven kept repeating “Nevermore!”.
