The light arched against the sky
Underneath a brilliant surprise
The green glow of the moon
That stared daringly on us
Upon us in the tropical air
Where a newly discovered form
Was developing on the cliffs
That cascaded white foams
Of water that enthralled our beating hearts.
From a distance the beguiling stars
Spoke to our very essence
As our lips responded
And grew ever close
Till we reached the pinnacle
Of our hungry eyes
Which softly closed
Awaiting each nudge
That was to be delivered
By every wet kiss
That relived the sky
Till we awoke
Melting in each others desire.
