I've read two of his novels - The Road and Blood Meridian. I liked both of them, and woud be happy to join in on the discussion. I'd like to nominate No Country for Old Men, though I'd give any of them a go.

I reckon you should write to him directly. Perhaps you could elicit as sparse a style as he displays in his writing.

I chose All the Pretty Horses, since I've read the other two. But I would like to add how outstanding Blood Meridian is!

I was so disappointed with this movie that I don't think I will have the desire to read the book.

Blood Meridian is great. We had quite a good discussion about it following a review of the book. I voted for No Country for Old Men. I've started reading it, and I'm finding it to be very good with some interesting themes. On the strength of The Road, Blood Meridian and No Country for Old Men, I think I'd give any of his books a go.
