When dark clouds loom above
and When the ship cannot withstand the restless tides
and her sails cannot bear the wind's song of fury
close your eyes
drift your attention
to spirit
and faster than time
would the tide humble into a wave
because spirit is beyond time
and quicker than heartbeat
the song won't make a difference
because spirit is beyond difference

what is sin?
what is fear?
what is pain?
to the spirit?
you die only to be born again
be devoid of man made myths
let them not make you their puppets
and turn you round as they please
and swing you up and down
because you are the spirit
and nothing can bend the spirit
because god is spirit.
