Embrace

[Anomandaris]

One night I saw her coming towards me
Her eyes, her hair dazzling
With a mysterious luminescence.
Benevolent towards me
She appeared to care
For my griefs long forgotten
By the people I thought that care for me.
Then she said that I can be saved
That she will give me the gift
The gift of lasting solitude.
And then I felt her embrace
So ardent, yet so cold
And then I fell asleep…
