A bright fire glows through a dense fog,
dulled further by radio waves and cell phone signals,
on the other side of understanding the fire burns,
beyond our perception the fire feeds itself
off the tinder we carelessly toss aside,
and we stand admiring the sky in it's peculiar hue
not understanding how or why.
