Forget religion
And all the do’s and don’ts you were told
Forget principles and priorities
When you have someone to be at one with
Things are dissolving
So many yesterdays we had
They say there is God and heaven
This simply delays the act
We are on impulse primed to relish

Lift the veil and touch the inside of me strongly

Do not shut the door on me
For I am the one who can stroke your innermost
It is no physical contact, which is the gateway only
Somewhere we reach
We cannot or else

I have heard enough sermons
The forbidden apple was half-bitten
By my first mother
Now you can eat the other half,
For I am the apple

Now fear not God,
For that was legend
Nothing comes in between us
Only the original remorse that has dispelled us for eternity

Close to something I'd like to say. Personally I like the gist of it.

Your poetry is beautiful.

I love these lines:
Lift the veil and touch the inside of me strongly

Do not shut the door on me
For I am the one who can stroke your innermost
It is no physical contact, which is the gateway only
Somewhere we reach
We cannot or else

It is a convincing argument to ask someone to keep the door open for you. May you find that door and walk through it.
