Hi,
I am an author of a comedy “My Uncle Henry I”. Those who read the comedy found it to be funny, engaging and well written. Who knows, maybe it is the next Broadway hit?
But it is in Russian language, as my mother tongue is Russian. Currently I am translating it into English and I need assistance. Please help!
Thank you.

Synopsis of the comedy "My Uncle Henry I"

Chris, bank employee from Liverpool, during a flight on a hot air balloon gets into a storm, and lands in London of the 12th century. Exchanging for fun clothes with King Henry I (son of William the Conqueror), he, for a short period of time, becomes a sovereign of England. While Henry gets into the Tower. "Performing duties of the King”, Chris carries out a management reform, repels an invasion, led by Robert Kurtgez, Henry’s elder brother, suggests a sanitary improvement project. But someone is trying to kill Chris - one attempt on his life follows another. However, his new friend - Henry’s mistress Sofia - helps him to avoid threats. Chris has a crush on Catherine, Henry’s niece, while Sofia falls in love with Chris: a love triangle emerges. From the other side, Henry’s wife queen Matilda considers Chris to be her husband... Along the way a lot of comical situations arise, they allude to the differences in views on hygiene, medicine, etc. in the 12th century and in our time. Going out a winner from all the troubles, Chris returns to present-day England. But not alone, Catherine follows him.

However, Chris's friends (played by the same actors who in the first and second acts played Henry, Robert, Sofia and Matilda) do not believe that he visited England of the XII century. Chris proposes to Catherine, but she believes that without blessing by one of her relatives (who are all remaining in the past) wedding cannot take place. Chris tries to find the way out, but all of his efforts are in vain. In the meantime, he and Catherine are invited to the Buckingham Palace for an audience with the Queen of England. The Queen thanks Chris for the documents referred to the era of Henry I, Chris has brought from the past. It appears that according to these documents Catherine and Elizabeth II are related. Catherine bags the Queen to bless their marriage. In the finals the characters of the past and present get together. Henry I knights Chris, the Queen awards him the Order of the British Empire, and Bishop of Salisbury announces Chris and Catherine husband and wife.

It's a good plot you have shared, but I'm not that much introduced to the field of translation.
