snow drops

as it snows
rows
silently slow
skies above crow
appear a bow

a stardust light
hovers in bright
floodlight in kind
lifts up and blights
pendulum strike
wilderness heights
even the slight
peaks of the rise
is sheltered white

the air is strewn
to breeze of east
mountain
and seas
revive the least
cold wind is strip
to winter cliffs
beneath the reefs
is golden drift

beautiful tree
is peltered freeze
movement is seized
shiny leaf pleat
against a sleet
creases and stills
nature is jilt
wishful oh silk
sunshine and heat
to come and pilk
the shrudest wilt

as it snows rows
life quilts and wrinks
under the froze
till days of glows
