Upon the moon filled rock
The long quested hour had arrived
And indeed I don't know why
As the egrets have long flown by
And the waves have crashed their cry
And left us to embrace our lips
As the magical spell arrived.
And what would I want that wasn't in you
And your sweet scents of lullabies
That wavers in the grasp of the lea
And stirs even to the depths of a league,
That would be calm and asleep
If not for your beating wings
That fan me like a sojourn in a book of dreams
That we capture by the moonlit sea.
