JL Borges wrote in A Weary Man's Utopia, "It is not the reading that matters, but the rereading." I've always found this sentiment particularly apt. There are so many fascinating discoveries to be made in a second (or even third) reading of a book, so many details that slipped past the eye at first glance, layers one may not have uncovered, references one may not have fully explored. Books are often labyrinths that require many voyages to fully discover.
With this in mind I suggest a rereading of 13 works over the course of 2013.
I shall review each of my selections in the book review section of this forum.
