This might be a difficult task, or an impossible task (if my clues are sufficiently misleading), or, perhaps, an easy task; I don't really know. So, here it goes: Could you (please) help me identify a poem that's been circulating in my mind all morning; it's not quite on the tip of my tongue, and I can't recall enough of the poem to identify it through Google. I read it years ago, so I apologize if the clues are vague, misleading, incorrect, or all of the above (I know); and I'll put into quotations words that I think appear in the poem. The gist of the piece is a man who, at times, takes his wife for granted—he fails to see her beauty and her uniqueness; he "stands by her unaware" for lengths of time but then, seemingly at random, she "blooms like a flower [before him]," and he falls in love with her all over again. It's a short poem and likely a classic. I know, I haven't given you much to go by, but who knows, maybe someone will bite.
