There once struck me a beautiful maiden
And she was utopian head to toe
And even her shoes did shine like diamonds.

And there upon the shore, among the reefs
I saw an illumination that caused quite a stir;
As when I saw her eyes

Radiating like a blazing bolt in the sky,
And arrayed with colors that held me astonished,
With the deepest turquoise of the far flung seas

And having hues not in common with earth
But of another place and time,
That of the far climes of an unearthly belle.

And upon her lips love evoked
And I was contained by bliss
Seeing roving butterflies fly out from her lips.

And she stood watch of the stars with a aura in her eyes
And she spread out her majestic hands and lifted them up to the skies
And there came down a dove and landed on her right palm.

And she opened her beauty and a beautiful sound
Reverberated through the air,
The sound of a piccolo through the mist of a cloud
And she was heard like a maiden longing for home.

And this maiden drew her eyes into nigh
And upon this the dove flew through the air and into the trees,
And a wind whipped upon her, around her and settled through the sea.

And there a great arch appeared above her head
Like a royal crown of glittering gold and silver,
And its beam penetrated into the deep depths of the sky
And unto a stairway that lifted into the night.

And a great silence took over the nearby forest,
And not even a bird of flight could be heard.
But there I stood in the vacuum of her eyes
Just staring as if her a beaming ghost.

And her with I and my heart grew dreamy
Thinking of the things we were to do,
Me and this beautiful maiden by the enchanted sea.

And with the forest dark and alluring,
There was churning in the sea,
As I saw her on the stairway - glow,
Till imbued with a heavenly beam.
