Greetings everyone, happy new year, wishing you a prosperous and a healthy one.
Well, I was wondering if any of you guys are capable to answer some questions regarding Southern Humor in American Literature, Southern Literary Renaissance, in addition to Fenimore Cooper's work. Any decent answers are genuinely appreciated.
The questions are:
- To what extent can we consider Natty Bumppo as an American Hero? (The Leatherstocking Tales)
- "Now Natty Bumppo and Fenimore, arm in arm, an odd couple" Analyze. (The Leatherstocking Tales)
- What lies behind the birth of "Southern literary Renaissance"?
- Why do you think a hostile climate is frequently the best one a writer could ask for especially a COMIC writer?
Thank you infinitely.

Thank you lavishly.
My answers wouldn't be perfect. Though, I shall try.

1-Regarding the first question; Natty Bumppo is a harsh, independent, brave and strong untanable hunter, an Indian fighter, and American scout for the British military. (I need further informations concerning his bravery as an American Hero).
2- "Now Natty Bumppo and Fenimore, arm in arm, an odd couple" Analyze. (The Leatherstocking Tales). This has something to do with D.H. Lawrance's criticism. (I need also here further informations regarding the Criticism of D.H Lawrance, or in other words, the way how he perceived Fenimore Cooper with relation to his work of "The Leatherstocking Tales".
3- The third question "What lies behind the Birth of Southern literary Renaissance" (I couldn't find a decent answer on the Internet).
4- I think that American Comic Writers have something to do with Civil Wars?

All your "need more information" answers make me wonder if you've done anything yourself at all. So the best place to start is with the original books, all of which are public domain:

The Deerslayer: http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/3285

Last of the Mohicans: http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/940

The Pathfinder: http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/1880

The Pioneers: http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/2275

The Prairie: http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/6450

2- "Now Natty Bumppo and Fenimore, arm in arm, an odd couple" Analyze. (The Leatherstocking Tales). This has something to do with D.H. Lawrance's criticism. (I need also here further informations regarding the Criticism of D.H Lawrance, or in other words, the way how he perceived Fenimore Cooper with relation to his work of "The Leatherstocking Tales".

Again, best place to start is with Lawrence himself.

3- The third question "What lies behind the Birth of Southern literary Renaissance" (I couldn't find a decent answer on the Internet).

Now I'm pretty positive you're trying to avoid doing any work, because a Google search for "Southern literary renaissance" turned up lots of stuff. Start with that and Wikipedia.

4- I think that American Comic Writers have something to do with Civil Wars?

That particular question is a lot more general.

Thank you for your answers.
First of all and foremost, I have been studying hard lately, besides, I have presentations concerning the answers of these questions. I didn't find any gratifying replies to such within. I can even send you all the presentations and check if you please. :)
I have been through those links you just sent me, still no clue, but I really esteem highly your efforts.
