Someone tell me they've read this guy, his work is absolutely stunning. A relative of mine recommended him to me because he happened to be friends with Goldbarth and this Christmas I used my gift card to a local independent book store (gotta love gifts like that) and bought The Kitchen Sink, a rather thorough collection of his most recent stuff.
To say the least, I was immediately impressed. His poetry is off the charts in terms of voice, structure, depth, etc. I just can't stop reading his stuff.
He teaches Creative Writing at Wichita State University which is not all that far from me and I'm definitely somewhat inspired to possibly pursue my degree there simply because he teaches the class.
