Is labelling the same as compartmentalisation of the thinking process evil?
In other words labelling could be the reason why one does not have total freedom to exist and be. Tagging is another word for it.
Incognito could be a benefactor rather then the odd.

I have considered this, that we often fall under labels through things such as school, believing inherently we are students, for example. It makes it harder to invent or reinvent yourself. It does hinder freedom, especially of the mind. Sometimes a label is necessary, like a name, to give us an idea of what something is.

I think other people label us, and when we become aware of it we get surprised. The surprise can be nice or awful, depending on the kind of the label. :) On the other hand, we, also, label other people and can get surprised when we see that our label is wrong, that the person we have labelled has some other properties that do not accord with our label. This is why I do my best not to label anybody. But, sometimes, it is not so easy. :)

It's hard not to judge too, but we always have the hazard of expressing our thoughts to return another's rebuke. Name-calling has to be the worst of labeling.
