One best thing about Christmas

I thought we could all post ONE best thing about Christmas to keep us in the mood.:p

For me it has the street lights. I simply love lights!!!

Hmm, okay then: Christmas Pudding. I love it - definitely one the highlights of the year.

I agree, the best thing about Christmas is when I throw back the shutters on the second day of the new year and emerge blinking into the dawn of a new normality. The streets are empty and few are to be found in the shops and, more importantly, the pubs as the over-surfeited population are restored to their workplaces.

This may sound cliche, but in my opinion the best thing about Christmas really is being with the whole family: aunts, uncles, parents, grandparents, cousins, all sitting round the table eating Christmas Dinner and being happy.

Then of course, I get presents too :p

The winter swell is in at this time of year, and the surf is amazing. So that might just be my favourite thing about Christmas... A nice big wave surf session followed by warming up in front of the fireplace.

I suppose all the champagne is rather nice too.
