Annoying links

I've noticed this forum website has started inserted annoying, unintentional links in my posts. For example, I wrote 'start' in one post and the word was underlined and linked to an advert to a smartphone. Is there any way of switching this feature off?

The problem seems to have been caused by an extension that found its way onto my internet browser. This was the Giant Savings extension for Mozilla Firefox.
