falling
from grace
and
nothing can pace
the race
you caged
down
memory maze
the coulisses
baits
imagine
days
each endless wave
turning to waste
as you
face
haste
the silent
gaze
falling from grace
has lest you praised

Another winner, and I hope that you enjoy my most recent effort :
lest we forget
in acres of a foreign fold
new fangled forgers firkins fell
wintry wilting wrathful weald
gropes in golden polded pews
pilfering pasty possled plums
and prawns gelatinised in grids
squids quids skids and skittles
squeal among the purple papples
grapples snapples pasty proles
polygraphic gasseous goules

Emil this is truly a beautiful piece. One for my collection if I may.
Your ability to produce such magnified array of descriptive vocabulary is a truly amasing. The context in which they are placed is superb.
I really enjoyed reading ''lest we forget''. You brought a smile to my face thank you. Look forward to reading more. :smile5:

I think he's yanking your chain, cacian.
If you truly believe his atrocious 'poem' is anything more than a p1ss-take you are truly deluded.

As indeed you should. Vegemite is the most foul tasting of all substances. I tried it once and threw the jar away.

How dare you Sir, have you not seen my other submissions inspired by Cacian's work? If you were to view the site that Cacian has headed 'as I lay' in Personal Poetry, you will see other examples that you so cavalierly refer to as a piss-take.

Lol. It's an acquired taste - like stilton.

Alas, Sir, I have.
