how powerful is your voice?
and
which type of voices do you respond better to?
I find hesitative voices distract me and I tend to lose concentration so I won't listen. I respond better to quick snappy or sharp voices.
Because of my profession as a teacher my voice is slightly higher and tends to freak out my partner because he thinks I am lecturing him and so I often have to rethink my voice projection.

Between teaching, public speaking, and some acting, I know I can project well. Whenever I hear my voice on recording though, I hate how it sounds. blegh.

Funny you say that because I am the same. I do not recognise my voice when I hear it on tape. It is very strange.
