Is it possible to claim humility and still be honest?
If no them why not?
If yes then is it possible to claim humility and still be humble?
Answer why for both yes and no.

My opinion on this is that it is possible to claim humility and be honest if that person truly believes that. That itself may be arrogance but it does not cancel out the honest belief of humility. Does this sound right?

However, the second one I'm not really to sure about. If one is humble and claims to be so is that arrogance/conceited? If you can claim humility and be honest why would it be arrogance if they actually were humble? Wouldn't it just be more of a statement of what is currently a matter of actuality? Or does it lose that trait as soon as they say it, because of it's apparent self-contradiction?
Can you say "I am humble." and as long as it is how everyone perceives you still remain humble?
Why is it still a self-contradiction if it's what they actually are?

Do humble people claim humility?

If you honestly feel humble, how is that arrogance?

Nah. It's like saying, "I'm cool." Even mentioning the word cancels out any coolness one could possibly claim.

Why claim anything at all in that regard? I mean other than things like walking serene and carrying a big stick?

Everything you do or you are is in the manner not the claim.
Honesty is tricky if you do not believe in yourself and humility is different.
