Hello everybody.

I'm brand new to this site and just spent a couple of hours browsing the various threads. There are some very harsh critics out there which is just what I'm looking for.

I've joined up in search of some constructive criticism of my first book; The Inconvenient Truth about God, Money and Everything. I am a father of three children aged from 19 to 26 and I am horrified by their current prospects in a world fuelled by outrageous lies. I spent 4 years studying economics (amongst other things) in order to write the book and things are so much worse than most people realize. Economics is not a science I'm afraid. It is a faith to rival Scientology and most economists couldn't find their own arses using both hands and a full length mirror! Every time the latest piece of financial wizardry is undone by mathematics we find economists implementing strange philosophical rules to dispense with the all-important numbers.

I am a scientist but I choose to work in the most unusual field of ticket touting. I travel the world getting ticketless people into some of the biggest sporting events on the planet. You may think that scalping tickets has nothing to do with the degenerative collapse of the global economy but wading through all this lies and corruption serves as a most useful analogy when describing high finance. The book is not written to impress habituated academics. The idea is to take the reader on an amusing journey and sneak the otherwise boring facts into their heads whilst they are laughing at something else. It does contain some strong language where I believe it is warranted and I'm looking for readers. I'd like to send an electronic copy to anybody willing to read it and receive some useful criticism. I will be self publishing early next year and would welcome any input.
