Yesterday, my hair was longer
than a person of my age should have
I looked for strands of grey
amid the dandruff
but they haven't come
so I must still be young.
Young enough to learn
a better method of expression
while I endeavour to survive
endless mindless chatter
in the shearing shed of life.
So are you doing anything special this weekend?

With a Touch of Frost
this morning, there is less of me
to worry about.
Like some dumb sheep,
I'll wander down the street
to buy a dress
then gorge myself along the strip.
(Damn void)
I'll herd myself home.
