In other words how would a reader be able to tell your stories from others without having to recourse to your name?
To write is to indent in order to invent regardless of what one writes. The ideal would be to write and write and publish without having to put a name to the books. Anonymity has benefits in that one can would be able to write and be recognised not because of the name but the style of the stories he or she produces.
Readers who are avid fans of reading should be able to spot a Hemingway from a Dickens without shadowing the names.

I guess after thinking about it for quite a while my ''signature dish'' or 'signature style' would to be cross one or two characters in all the stories I write.
