When I Went Insane

Did it happen in a moment?
Or was it a process?
Was it something that suddenly happened
that traumatized me and drove me
to committing acts of gross indecency
and just plain stupidity?
Or did it take place over a period of time?
Did my brain and/or mind gradually
grow murderous and filled with sick thoughts?
If so, why?

Even though it wouldn't make any difference
in the overall scheme of things,
I still would like to know,
did it happen in a moment
or was it a process over time?
And I would like to know why.

It seems to happen right away. I said it before in a different context. It happens when you eat your mental cereal and then you skip the mental prune juice.
