There can be no rehearsals
No extra 'takes'
It's all part of the act
Old actors exit
New ones enter
The show goes on regardless
Some play the wise man
Some the fool
Some just sit in a dark corner
Afraid to act - afraid to live
Some can see beyond the stage
Some cannot
The Audience just watches...

I was in my A level Maths class when my maths teacher suddenly quoted "All the world's a stage and each must play his part". It might have been a better poem if I'd studied English at A level!
