When The Wind

Shouldn't pull faces she says
Because when the wind changes-

Yeah, right... I shrugs

Except I wish I'd listened
Only a few seconds after
The wind actually changed
Wasn't uncomfortable really
But I'll have to wear this face

For the rest of me
Stupid looking life

Just look at me!

Me bloodshot eyes bug out
On long snail stalk things

Me foot long tongue pokes
Out in a twisted woggly coil

Me nose is long and bendy
Like a vacuum cleaner hose

Me chin is all curly and bumpy
Curling like an Arabian slipper

Me ears stick out at right angles
Like the handles on a trophy cup

Me eyebrows meet on the middle
Just one eyebrow from ear to ear

Me skin is all purple with green
Polka dots, curlicues and stripes

But worst is this dimwitted grin


And there's nothing to laugh about
